North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, the Crimea / Donetsk / Luhansk regions of Ukraine, and any other jurisdiction subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions. Obolo's proxy enforces sanctions screening via Chainalysis with multiple fallback providers.
Countries with Crypto Exchange Bans
Countries that have enacted outright bans on cryptocurrency exchange operations. Providers in these regions can still receive stablecoin payments on-chain but may face difficulty converting to local fiat. Peer-to-peer options may exist but carry additional risk.
